Pelican: at it’s core, a bird, but not just any bird. The pelican is a magnificent creature; resilient, having survived the ages, long celebrated by ancient cultures for its grace in flight and skill at the hunt, and made a symbol for its fondness of community and family by many. The pelican is known to sacrifice greatly in order to protect and care for what they hold dear.
